If you’re reading this, we want to personally thank you for choosing Falls Technology Group. It’s been a great year so far and we’re excited to announce the changes that we have implemented in Quarter 1 of 2023. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide more features, build better business, and provide top-notch support. Below, we’ve itemized the changes we’ve made both internally and externally with Falls Technology Group.

We Renamed Our Hosting Packages + Released New Products

On March 1st, 2023 we implemented a new production update that significantly changed the layout and naming convention of our hosting plans. We made this change to provide a clearer summary of what the client was receiving, and updated the associated resources for existing accounts.

We’ve released several new families of products including our Manage Web Hosting services, our Managed Reseller Hosting Services, and our Managed WordPress Hosting services. These products can be denoted by their associated family IDs:

  • USH – Unmanaged Shared Hosting
  • MWP – Managed WordPress
  • MRS – Managed Reseller
  • MWH – Managed Web Hosting

Our second Section – The “C” Section, includes information about how many vCPUs that we include:

  • C1 – 1 vCPU
  • C2 – 2 vCPUs
  • C3 – 3 vCPUs
  • C4 – 4 vCPUs
  • C5 – 5 vCPUs
  • C6 – 6 vCPUs
  • C7 – 7 vCPUs
  • C8 – 8 vCPUs

Our third section – The “Memory” Section, includes information about how much RAM we allocate.

Below, we’ve enclosed a table with more information:

We’ve Clarified Our Managed vs. Unmanaged Hosting Inclusions

To help clarify what our definition of managed services are, we’ve audited our services to ensure that we’re providing full-service to managed clients and providing lower costs to unmanaged plans.

Below, we’ve enclosed a chart showing the difference between our managed and unmanaged plans:

We’ve Expanded Our Hosting Plans

In all cases, we determined that we had the capability to expand our current offering to our clients including both disk space but also CPU and Memory allocations. We made this change to continue to support our clients in their endeavors, and wanted to give back to our clients in a way that would empower their projects.

We’ve Changed Our WordPress Management Services

To make way for our new Managed WordPress Hosting services, we have made the decision to update the services provided as part of our WordPress Management Services. Our WordPress Management services will no longer include updates, backups, rollbacks, CDN connectivity, or DDoS protection. We instead have designated these services to our Managed WordPress hosting.

Moving forward, our WordPress Management Services will be designated only to providing design and content updates to your WordPress websites. We are extending this service to include the ability for you to request that we upload blog articles, products, and other taxonomies (content types) into your website for you. Simply provide us the details of what you want added or changed and we’ll handle the rest.

Rest easy, however, as this does not mean you’ve lost any services, nor will your price change. For those of you who are on our current WordPress Management Services, we have updated your hosting plan to the appropriate matching Managed WordPress Hosting services at the same price you were paying before. You may see changes in the line items on your invoices, however the total will remain the same. Please note that any adjustment to service options or levels may result in a price recalculation that may cause your prices to go up as a result of this change.

Conclusion

We understand that you may have questions or concerns about this change, and we encourage you to contact us at support@fallstech.group if you need further information. We appreciate your understanding and continued loyalty to our company.

Thank you for choosing us as your service provider. We look forward to providing you with exceptional service under our new plan names and provisions.
